Update #15: Welcome to the Band!

How's it going, everyone? We hope February is ending the right way and you are ready for what's coming for the rest of the year.
We've seen a ton of you join our Discord server since our last update and have already redeemed their backer role. It's very cool to have all of you in the community! (And yes, we do read your comments, suggestions, and theories about Mariachi lol) If you're not there yet, don't worry; just click on this link and join the conversation!
We also hope you enjoyed the wallpapers we shared! We want to set the mood right to have you all excited as we continue with development. And on that note, we have some news to share with you.

Just like in any band, it is good to know who all of the players are and which ones you have common interests with, which is why many of you asked us about having an identifier for every server role on Discord; we thought that was a cool idea and got to work on making exclusive role icons according to your tier (and a subtle color change as well). And if you're in a gaming mood and want to check out new cool games, take a look at Bestiario, an exciting turn-based combat JRPG based on Spanish mythology and folklore, full of surprises. It's inspired by Japanese classics and the Persona saga and also combines dynamic turn-based combat with an exciting, mature adventure.
They are in the final days of the Kickstarter Campaign. So don't miss the chance to check them out! They are full of surprises! Their main character will even feature a La Sombra skin, which looks pretty sick:
On a sad note, we've been having some issues with the pledge manager for a few weeks and haven't been able to get our hands on the surveys. It isn't too much of a hassle, though. Backerkit is on it and will have a solution soon so that you can get the survey soon. In the meantime, we appreciate you all being so patient while this is fixed.

Hello everyone! We wish you all a great start to the holiday season! Everyone on the team is already in high spirits, and there’s no better gift for us than to be able to say we’re ready to close the campaign!
Launching a project on Kickstarter is always a roller coaster of emotions that comes with challenges, surprises, and uncertainty. This past month reminded us what an amazing community we have, one that has shown us nothing but love, support, and encouragement as we pushed through our funding goals.
Our previous game taught us plenty in terms of scope, management, overcoming obstacles, and, of course, the development itself, and that’s left us motivated to take all of the lessons learned and put them to good use for this new project.
It’s difficult to find words that convey our gratitude, but know that all of us devs here at Halberd are committed to delivering a game worthy of your trust in us. We know there will be trials ahead, but our resolve to tackle any situation and craft a game true to our essence is stronger than ever.
During the rest of this month, we’ll start reaching out to our backers to redeem certain rewards like Discord roles and digital content, so please stay tuned to our channels and your email to make the process fast and smooth.
As a final reminder, don’t forget that once the campaign is over, our backers will be able to include selected add-ons to their pledge through the pledge manager via Backerkit. Should there be any other substantial changes or news, be sure to keep up with our updates throughout Mariachi Legends’ development to stay tuned with our progress.
Once again, thank you to every person who believed in our studio and the project and supported us in any way they could. We’ll be forever thankful for that faith and respond to it in kind.

Hey everyone! We hope you’re well and very excited. We certainly are immensely happy and grateful for what you’ve helped us accomplish.
It is with our hearts full of joy that we announce that we’ve reached our seventh goal! This means the legendary Norihiko Hibino (Metal Gear Solid, Bayonetta, 9 Years of Shadows) will collaborate on our Soundtrack. Get ready to immerse yourself in a magical, perfectly scored atmosphere.
Lastly, we want to share with you our final stretch goal: The mysterious and exciting Shinigami Mode, a thrilling way to experience the adventures of Pablo Cruz.
And with only minutes left of our campaign, we want to thank all of you once more, especially our Discord community, for coming with us on this journey and for bringing us this far.

Setting the mood to discover a world of Mexican Magic can only be achieved with the right choice of tunes. This is why our seventh stretch goal features the contribution of a mysterious and Legendary Guest Composer to spice things up!
